(ENG) The video “Lijepa naša domovino” is a musical and visual homage to Croatia — dedicated to all those who throughout history, and especially during the Homeland War, sacrificed themselves for the freedom and future of our Homeland. It was created on the occasion of the 1100th anniversary of the Croatian Kingdom and the first Church Council of Split — historical milestones that remind us of the centuries-long continuity of Croatian statehood, identity, and faith.
It was made with the support of the Central State Office for Croats Abroad, to whom we extend our sincere gratitude. We also express special thanks to the churches and pastoral staff of the parishes of St. Mark in Zagreb, St. Domnius in Split, and St. Blaise in Dubrovnik for their kindness and permission to film.
We proudly present this video as a symbol of the connection between Croatia and its diaspora. Though scattered across the world, Croats living abroad always carry their homeland in their hearts, thoughts, and prayers. May this video stand as a sign of remembrance, respect, and unity for all Croats, wherever they may be.
(HR) Video “Lijepa naša domovino” je glazbeni i vizualni hommage Hrvatskoj — posvećen svima koji su kroz povijest, a posebno u Domovinskom ratu, žrtvovali sebe za slobodu i budućnost naše Domovine. Video je nastao u povodu 1100. obljetnice Hrvatskog kraljevstva i Prvog crkvenog sabora u Splitu —povijesnih datuma koji nas podsjećaju na stoljetni kontinuitet hrvatske državnosti, identiteta i vjere.
Izrađen je uz potporu Središnjeg državnog ureda za Hrvate izvan Republike Hrvatske, kojem ovim putem zahvaljujemo na podršci. Posebnu zahvalnost upućujemo crkvama i pastoralnom osoblju župa Sv. Marka u Zagrebu, Sv. Duje u Splitu i Sv. Vlaha u Dubrovniku na njihovoj susretljivosti i dopuštenju za snimanje.
Ponosno ga predstavljamo kao simbol povezanosti Hrvatske i njezine dijaspore. Premda rasuti po svijetu, Hrvati izvan domovine uvijek je nose u srcu , mislima i molitvama. Neka ovaj video bude znak sjećanja, poštovanja i zajedništva svih Hrvata, ma gdje bili.
